Quality Measurement Group

Innovating Data Solutions for EMS

Quality Measurement Group, Inc. is a private for-profit original equipment manufacturer and software development firm. We build and invest in software and systems-integration services designed to improve interoperability at the edge of health IT. This is the space where a large workforce of providers deliver high-quality prehospital care in the field—often at high acuity with little or no clinical history or other hazard intelligence available.

Semantic Interoperability® enables more than just delivery of comprehensive patient medical records on the spot and surfaces data points that matter most. We invest in software resting on the framework of well-established continuity of care objectives for both the pre-hospital and post-hospital courses of the patient story.

Complex interoperability challenges exist between health IT and its partner-data ecosystems (e.g., EMS, PBM, Post Acute). These challenges represent a prime opportunity to invest in solutions that alleviate provider documentation burdens and surface data strategically to sustain consistent high-quality care delivery to patients.

Quality Measurement Group guides organizations in meeting objectives by harvesting the business benefits of early adoption. Founded at the base of Utah’s Silicon Slopes, Quality Measurement Group started as a team of developers fostering community partnerships.

Our Mission

Our primary objective: Leverage emerging technology to alleviate interoperability challenges and data gaps for EMS and other stakeholders at the edge of healthIT.

Quality Measurement Group will contribute to high-quality knowledge bases through open collaboration and knowledge discovery in data.

We will develop tools that support EMS providers, agencies and other rescuers who choose to put themselves on the line to help people in danger.

We will leverage data science to reduce provider risk and associated hazards for active crew members.

We will build extensions that integrate population health management (PHM) to actively protect patients and providers in the workforce.

We will leverage open innovation, modernization and early adoption. We will contribute to the development of semantic interoperability at the edge of healthIT.

We will foster the search for quality within an organization by integrating quality tools for standardization—the mechanism of continuous quality improvement.
